The Highland Harper Ms. Candace L. Coates has been performing publicly on her Celtic harp since 1993.
Private harp lessons are available on an appointment only basis. Bimonthly lesson scheduling is preferred.
Please contact her by email to reserve your first harp lesson. Proof of Covid vaccinations are required for all person lessons as of 2020. Social distancing required. Zoom/Facetime lessons are currently available.

What is your primary product or service?
I am a harp teacher and solo performer on both the Celtic and double strung harps.
How did you first become interested in your line of business? (if owner) - What is your background? (If owner or store manager)
I learned to play the harp as an adult and discovered that many people are fascinated by their sound.
How do you differentiate yourself from other businesses in your category and area?
I use applied principles of folk education with my students. Lesson plans are based on each person's progress. Students advance at their own pace. I home school my harp students which is particularly critical with beginners. Home schooling means that I travel to my student's homes. For those students who may be minors, our company policy is that the parent(s) or legal guardian of the child must be at home during their child's lesson.

Your music is so relaxing, I can not thank you enough for sharing your talents with us. My daughter loves playing her harp. Thank you so much for doing such an excellent job with her. After struggling with the piano for years, I love learning to play the harp . You are an wonderful harp teacher!
